Public Transport In Samui

Featured Replies

In today's newspaper Bangkok is receiving 4000 NGV buses and another 2000 soon. Is there any hope that we may get 5 - 10 sent down here to relieve us of these archaic songthews and overpriced taxis? The list of obvious advantages is long. The environmental aspect being one. Another is reducing traffic and accidents. Not to mention the commerce it would encourage.

hmmmmmm no!....

the major will object due to the mafia paying for them not to be here

or

they will come but it will be 50 THB for a 3 km journey ( not like the 2-5 THB in Bangkok )

Also i highly doubt the buses will survive on samui roads
