I am on a non-imm O visa and have to cross the border before the end of January. How long do I need to be out of the country for. Can I walk out and then straight back in. Or catch a plane to Cambodia/Vietnam etc and catch the next one back again.

Thanks for the advice

What lopburi stated is correct, provided:

1) You have a multiple-entry Class O visa.

2) You will reenter Thailand before the expiration date of your visa.

Beware - if your Class O visa was issued anywhere inside SE Asa, it was probably 90-day single-entry.

Good liuck!

Yes it is a multi O, issued in Oz valid for a year.

Thanks..

Then you can enter as often as you like and get up to 90 days on each entry. You can actually re-enter just before that year is up, and getting yet another stay of 90 days ( nearly 15 months )

My record at the moment and I would like to see if someone can beat it - did it on Sunday. 7 1/2 minutes from the Carpark in Chom Chon to be driving back home in my car.

Went out, I handed my passport to "Uncle" went to the Duty free bought a 4-litre bottle of Johnny, picked up my passport from "Uncle" with the Thai Card filled out, waited about 90 seconds to e-enter Thailand, walked over to the car and drove off.

No one batted an eye-lid at the big bottle of booze. :D

Mind you Uncle and his cronies were at the party a few hours later :o
