Anyone Know A Nice Hotel/guest House For Me Wife & Kids - Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi

I will be coming to bangkok next week with my wife and kids (7 and 2years old).

Would appreciate some feedback on anywhere nice to stay. Budgetwise, looking to pay no more than 700-1000bt a night, and other prerequisites are that its clean, relatively quiet, friendly and safe. So if anyone has any reccomendations, please let me know. Thankyou :o

from wednesday I have 3 bedroom house 3.5k/week, 10k/month. Aircon, brodband internet, garden, kids inflatable swimming pool

I have another one, 4 bedroom 2 aircon, 2 kitchenettes from 7.02, 10k/month. Also brand new 4 bedroom, but further west from town, around Liep Khlong Thawi Wattana/Phet Kasem Rd/Phutamonthon Sai 3 10k/month - stay as long or as long as you want. No contract, deposit 10k. Hmmm..maybe i never made myself clear. We will just be spending a few days in bangkok, looking for a guest house or hotel to stay in. Really would appreciate any reccomendations. Thanks.

Hi Geotex,

IF you like to try Elizabeth hotel at Phayathai. Cost is a little bit more (1300), but it is nice. It is in central of every thing and can walk to BTS. Lots of food (I love it) and also shops for exchange money with a higher rate than banks. I did not know this before. Last year I went the taxi cost me 750 baht to get there form airport.

Another interesting is the Siver Gold Garden, it is about 25 min from Suvannaphum airport, free pick up from airport if tell them the flight when you book the hotel. I looked yesterday the cost was 740 baht, it has promotions right now, but this is not in the central of Bangkok.

I'd like to try this one this year as no cost of the pick up van and feel saft as it is directly from the hotel. I normally arrive there midnight.

Please check them out. You also can go search the other hotels to see prices and locations.

Have a nice trip to Thailand

The Drop Inn on Sukhumvit Soi 20 ,, is family orientated .. Website dropinnbangkok.com see also reviews at tripadvisor.com Can get extra beds in room for Kids ,,, Close to BTS Prong Pong and Asoke

Hope this helps

Very nice brand new rooms at the Drop Inn but a little small.

Can't remember the price but feel sure it was out of the 700~1,000 Baht range as I've never bothered staying there.

Thanks for the replies. Drop inn sounds nice but its 1400 a day. Would appreciate some more recomendations if anyone has any please - there must be somewhere nice for around 800bt a day. If not i'll pile though all the places listed in trip-advisor till i find somewhere suitable. Thanks again.

you can try Ibiz Hotel, only 800 THB a night

The Premier Inn on Suk Soi 20 is 800 Baht a night, breakfast included.

It's a bit tired these days though and you really need to make sure you get a room at the front with a window.
