Here are some of the benefits of DAN, their training and being a DAN member, DAN was of great assistance in this diving incident and proved to be a lifesaver for a diver on this technical dive in the gulf of Siam, without the assistance from DAN the repercussions could have been a lot more serious.

It should be noted, that diving is a dangerous sport, there is always the chance of DCS, no matter how experienced or what the dive is, accidents can happen, knowing how to treat DCS and detect symptoms of DCS are important things that should be considered when doing any diving safely, DAN have courses to educate divers more about the safety aspects that need to be considered when diving, any diver who is diving as an Advanced open water diver or higher level should strongly consider some of DAN's courses, it may not save your life but it may save someone elses.
