Wi-fi

Featured Replies

If you position yourself near to the airline lounges a scan of the wi-fi network should give some opportunities for free wi-fi. In the past I have used those around the E + F gates - 3rd floor.

Are there any free Wi-Fi Hotspots at Suvarnabhumi?

There is a free Wi-Fi signal in some of the public areas on the departure floor outside immigration. Inside, not so sure, there are signals but most seem to be passworded or otherwise unwilling to give you an IP Address. Leaching off one of the Business Class lounges, as mentioned by the previous poster, is worth a try though.

I found that when the airport first opened there was free wifi, but now every scan I do produces several providers - all wanting cash.

This seems to be the case in the locations mentioned above, & everywhere else.

Suvarnabhumi Airport has a lot to learn about passenger requirements in the 21st Century. I suggest the next time the owners are looking for a junket, they travel to Changi Airport (Singapore) and look at the free wi-fi, hundreds of free internet terminals, koi pond, free movie theatre, swimming pool and reasonably priced short-stay accommodation.

That's right. At the E-F-G junctions or A-B-C junction on the 3rd floor. You can pick airport lounge free WiFi like SQ, CX, CIP, etc. All are free.

I have always found open WiFi signals at Swampy.

Above posts are to be tried, best to find one near a power point.

I love to download all my emails for reading once flying.

Korean girl next to me last time tried to get online, to no avail........pmpl.

KLIA and KL_LCC terminals have free WiFi thru'out.

Brilliant, heaps of power points too.

Was there 7 weeks ago and all the lounges have now put password blocks on them. The cafes will give you a password for theres but you will need to buy some food or drink which is not to bad i guess.
