Skytrain Goes Convertible

BANGKOK: -- As a result of a secret but highly successful joint venture partnership between BTS Skytrain and Dream World Co., Ltd - the first load of tourists could this morning successfully embark on the new and fun convertible train service which offers a panoramic and remarkable free view over the Thai capital.

The modern and newly designed electrified train will transport Bangkok’s tourists and commuters in comfortable open-air cars, saving them time with a quick, funny and hilarious train service.

Currently there are two routes in operation, the Sukhumvit Line and the Silom Line. They cover much of the central city and its many commercial, residential and tourist areas, with extensions planned to outlying areas. Depending on sunny weather the trains run daily between 6:00 am and 12:00 midnight with frequent service throughout the day, increased during rush hours.

The fare is based on nationality, age and personal weight.

To enable maximum convenience for our local and foreign customers - members of our graceful staff will at each train station be at hand to help and determine each passenger’s nationality, age and weight.

To ensure a swift passenger service we will ask you to provide a valid passport and to pay the fare with a credit card at our on-line scale & ticket machines.

For more information:

Please contact Mr Fanroht Silpakornfai ( นาย ฝันรถ ศิลปากรไฟ ) at the BTS helpdesk department.
