Is There A Dive Club In Bangkok?

Is there a dive club in Bangkok?

By dive club i meant non-commercial group or network of like-minded divers meeting regularly to share discussions, info, pics, activities etc.

I don't know if it would qualify as a formal 'club' but there is a group of Bangkok divers planning to get together to talk diving. Check out this announcement of a gathering for tomorrow at Larry's Dive (name of a bar, not a commercial dive operator) off Sukhumvit Road near Asoke.

That's exactly what I was about to point out. I think that is as close as it will get to a dive club in BKK.

Enjoy it!

Since this thread is a bit old and I have the same question I have to bump this one...

There are a number of Thai clubs but the Farang ones I know about died a death.......

the ones I remember were ....

TSAC which was based at the bulls head (closed as main members left Thailand)

Erin which was based at the dubliner (closed when Ciaran went back to his career)

Damnam which self imploded when rules and dive instructors took over

Am sure there must be some more based in bars around the capital

Goggle Dive Tribe

Seem to have quite a following and are not tied to any school or agency.
