Good Mechanic For Phantom In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone help? I have a Phantom Custom model, but I am looking for a good mechanic in Pattaya. Most of the cycle shops only really deal with small bikes, or if you go to the big bike shops, they seem to say why bother? I am just looking for a mechanic that comes recommended, I have a water cooled model, and it goes fine but open it out and it coughs a bit. So I want it serviced by someone who knows their stuff.

Thanks guys!

There's a great mechanic for working on Phantoms at the Mityon-Pattaya Yamaha Dealership on Theppesit Road. I know it's a Yamaha dealership, but the head mechanic knows Phantoms well. He's been working on my Phantom for the past 6 years. He's been able to solve problems when the other mechanics just scratch their heads.

Don't forget that yours is a 2-stroke. so may just be that you have put gasahol in it. you CANNOT use gasahol with 2-strokes. change the spark plug, check the 2t oil resovouir (make sure you have 2t oil). If you know all this already, then sorry but you did'nt say how long you have had your bike.

Thanks I know my oil is ok, but I didn't know about Gasahol, I use 91 is this ok?

I have had the bike 3 months now,

it wasn't planned but it's mine for better or worse.

Can't find any info on Phantoms.

I have changed the spark plug.

Thanks Allan for your help.

Thanks I will go there in the next few weeks after Songkran.
