Gf sent her application by post to come and get married and stay with me in the uk - 2 weeks ago

They took the Fee out of her bank account 4 days later

10 working days later she was called and given her interview date 28th March

(6 weeks)

Total of 8 weeks waiting.

I am Sh*ting it now!!!!

It was just under a nine week wait for us in March 2002, and after my wife’s main interview we were told she would have to wait a further 4 days for the final decision due to reading one of our emails mentioning finding an agent to book our wedding and get document translations

...But it all worked out in the end.

At least it will give you time to check and re-check your paperwork.
