Photography is one of my hobbies and I would like to know where I can get a background stand in Bangkok or Thailand itself?

and what about the prices for those?

and are there any ways/shops/websites in Thailand where to get photography equipment not for horrendous prices?

I am not sure about your specific request, but Fotofile in Bangkok is a good place to start.

A good stock, helpful staff who speak English and reasonable prices.

currently i am not in the beloved country,

so i maybe have to wait due to some stuff i have to do here :S

Ekasilp is great for this kind of stuff. I bought big backgrounds from them... prices aren't bad.
