Singapore Hotel Please

Featured Replies

Good location & price with web site link , please :o

Depends on what you consider a good price. The Concorde Hotel Click Here is right on Orchard Road and is a very short walking distance to the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange Station. The Concorde is the former LeMeridien Singapore. The prices quoted on the website are full rack rate, but if you call them direct you can usually negotiate a standard room for half the price quoted on the website.

Good location & price with web site link , please :)

hotel Re Hotelre.com.sg i saw it advertised before my last visit to sing about 4 months ago and decided to give it a try... its a brand new hotel rooms are very small, but include internet etc, not much in the way of room service but for the price about 120 sing a night, its well worth it, only negative is that its in pearl hill which is about 5 mins in a taxi from orchard road, embassy thai etc

I stayed at the Ibis on Bencoolen just this past week. Weekend nights where about 138 SGD and weekdays 156 SGD. New and clean with free in-room wireless Internet. I found the hotel on booking.com. It allows you to filter results depending on what you're looking for.

the IBIS is ridiculously overpriced. and if booking any ACCOR hotel (the IBIS chain is part of Accor group), you ALWAYS get the best price through the Accor website itself (and with much better options in case you have to cancel or change the date).

I stayed in better rooms than Ibis for 30-40% less during the past 12 month.

Singapore is one of those places, where WOTIF got the best deals. forget all those agoda's, asiarooms and the such.....

just dont trust the STAR-rankings at Wotif, these are coming from the hotels themselves. but still great deals compared to other websites.

Singapore hotels are stupidly overpriced at the lower mid to lower top end range most of the time and though I've trawled the sites, I have never found any real bargains over a number of years and trips.

Currnetly the Ibis is in the circa $150 range which is Bt3000+ in my head (at a rough 20 to 1) which is not great but I can't fault Ibis for their rooms in those I've stayed in on different continents over the last 6 months and if the price is right, it is a fair deal. For more amenities and luxury, then be prepared to pay substancially more but as a comparison to the hooker ST equivalent Fragrance and Hotel 81 stuff, the Ibis is a good price.

If someone knows where this way better than Ibis stuff for 40% less really is then I'd welcome to see it. My experience is that people talk the talk but can rarely deliver.

earlier this year, I stayed at the pretty new LINK HOTEL for example, and paid 110 S$, which included not only free high-speed inernet in the room, but as well a decent breakfast buffet (one thing that you always have to pay for extra at the IBIS).

booked through WOTIF. though it is definitely not a 4-star hotel, as they make you wanna believe on the WOTIF-website. and it is as well not a "boutique"-hotel. but it's a nice 2,5-star hotel, same standard as Ibis, and much cheaper. best deal I have found in SG so far.

Cheers for that. I'll have a look.

Ibis breakfasts vary enormously. Sometimes they are great value with top quality stuff and at other times they are totally rubbish.

Rendezvous Hotel

Stayed at the Rendezvous with the family last month, our third stay there, good hotel, good location, price isn't cheap, but as pointed out hotels in Singapore aren't.
