I just bought a dedicated film scanner (at great cost) and now wish to sell my Epson .

I purchased the V700 in December 2007 and have used it sparingly and with great care. The scans from the V700 are amazing and it’s rightly regarded as the King of the flatbed scanners. See this review (http://www.photo-i.co.uk/Reviews/interacti...V700/page_1.htm). The scanner accommodates 35mm, 120 and 5x4 with appropriate holders. LF up to 10x8 can be scanned with the supplied guides. Reflective scanning is available to A4 size with OCR included. The 35mm holders cater for mounted or unmounted slides or negatives. Epson scanning software is superb but I also include Silverfast 6 SE software.

I have also purchased (Jan 2009) the Betterscan MF holders and ANR glass inserts which are included in the sale. See details (http://www.betterscanning.com/). These ensure edge to edge sharpness and complete film flatness to squeeze every bit of detail from your image.

Finally to view your slides/negatives I have a superb and very rare mint condition Rodenstock 6x6 full frame 3x Loupe with -3/+3 diopter adjustment which I only bought a few months back. The only reason I’m selling this item is I just have purchased a Rollei SLR viewfinder to compliment my 6002 kit and it also doubles as a loupe. I don’t need both.

My cost for the above were:

V700 and Silverfast 28,000 thb

Betterscan MF holders 6,000 thb

Rodenstock Loupe 7,500 thb

All the items are in mint unmarked and as new condition and are all boxed with instructions, software, cables etc. You will not be disappointed with this equipment.

Buyer can collect and inspect scanning ability if you so wish or I’ll deliver and set it up within a reasonable distance from Hua Hin.
