Hi all

In the process of applying for Fiancee visa with g/f, should I bring with me to Thailand an affidavit from my solicitor in the UK to show I am free to marry (unmarried) ??

Thanks

Hi Clive,

If you have never married a simple statement to this effect will suffice. The visa officer can only refuse to accept this if there is evidence that it's not true. If you have previously been married then, of course, you will have a decree absolute to show that you are free to marry.

Cheers,

Scouse.
