My thai girlfriend had a 6 month visitor visa last year and stayed in england for 3 months.

We are applying again next month, am I right in thinking the second visa is easier to obtain ? any one know what the stats are approx? Will I still have to provide all of the same documents as before, ie savings etc with the application or will the embassy refer to the first application/visa. Or is the whole process exactly the same as the first time but just having an increased chance of getting a visitor visa ?

Also sorry to ramble on, but would my girlfriend be able to sort herself if I post everything to her and she goes to the embassy by herself without me, would her going alone for a 2nd visa reduce her chances.

Thanks

Darren,

Providing that there's been a reasonable gap between your g/f having come back from the UK and her reapplying and that she complied with the conditions of the 1st visa then there should be little difficulty in getting another as long as her circumstances have not changed for the worse . You should submit up to date proof of your savings etc.

Cheers,
