Fuel Economy Navara Vs Hilux

Featured Replies

Hello to owners of the New Nissan Navara and Hiluxes,

If you own either a Nissan Navara with D40 engine or a Hilux either with a 1KD or a 2KD. Can you all share your information with the rest of us in term of fuel economy in term of liter per Km . Please state whether you have an automatic or manual gear box as well. Please share any other information related to your car if you desire.

This will be an interesting post for everyone to share information with.

Thanks

I have a Navara extra cab (MT) that I bought last August. I have not checked L/KM but I can tell you it seems like it goes forever on a tank of fuel.......I will check it soon and post. As to the rest of the truck, it is very good, but the one thing I would caution someone against is the ride quality. It is a bit harsh as it is very well sprung for handling heavy loads. So if you are looking for a truck to be your everyday car, I would suggest a test drive first.

9 to 12 L per 100km travelled unless i boot it, staying under 2500rpm is the sweet point in economy.

Finally got around to checking the mileage. This is combined city and hiway, but mostly city driving. At last fill up it worked out to 30 miles to the imperial gallon. Sorry, I am too old to make sense out of liters per km :)
