Anyone going to be around at 7pm?

Can stay maybe until 7:45 - 8pm before I have to run off and meeet the clients

Will be the hansum man in black shirt and tie with dots.

See you there later, I'll be in casual clothes as it's dress down Friday. :)

Where is the Crossbar, seen it but can't place it

Soi 23 Sukhumvit, opposite the Chokchai Steak house, and near Sino Thai tower.

Cheers mate got it now, is it just a bar or restaurant as well

A bar that serves food, just like most other western style pubs.

It was great meeting everyone.  THanks for coming.

The Crossbar was a nice venue, and the snacks were good.  But the company was interesting and entertaining--and I could actually hear what people were saying (still didn't understand what was being said half the time--as the only "septic" there, I needed constant translations!  :)  )

THanks, mrtoad, for putting it together.

Nice to meet a few more from the forum.

I wouldn't worry too much about the translations Bonobo, Moonrakers was doing his best to speak in a language that no one could understand.

For those that turned up, nice to meet you all and let's do another one sometime.

Just a word of thanks to Brian at The Crossbar for putting on the snacks which were appreciated by all, and I know that Bonobo is now converted to HP sauce and Cornish pasties. :)

Some people do struggle to comprehend the more advanced version of the language, and tractors are very sophisticated bits of equipment I'll have you know and so not everybody can be expected to understand them....

But yeah, twas good to meet up with those that I ain't met before. I think that Bonobo likes the limey life style.

You've got that right!  51 years old, and it takes me this long to discover this little culinary gem!!!
