Thai Zoo Surprised By Birth Of Panda Cub

Oh boy, it seems world news, heared it about 3 times allready on the news here in The Netherlands.

It seems the Thai love panda bear!

I went to the zoo today to see the Pandas (and the other animals too!). Why they build the bugger on a mountain I don't know - knackered or what!

Anyway, the mum and baby are visible by live feed video, in the panda display, but get to see the other pandas eat and erm well, not much else they do really - very cute watching it sit in a deck chair eating apples (and bamboo).

I love the fact that the zoo is situated on a hill. It makes the landscape much more interesting and the walk invigorating. I never take the little train or monorail and I'm an old fart of 69, but I can walk all day.
