Did The Flooding Rains Come As Predicted?

Featured Replies

A week ago there were weather predictions for flooding rains in the Kanchanburi province of Thailand between May 22 and May 25. Did they actually occur? I know the Lu kae area where I look after a Thai family has had floods in the past. Did anything happen over last weekend? I believe statistics show the heaviest rains usually happen in September, but low lying area are always at risk. When I took a bus from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi in the fall of 2007 all the low lying areas were covered in water and many buildings were flooded.
