Called at the Chonburi Taxation office
I went to the tax office in Kamphaeng Phet yesterday with my Thai wife on a similar task. That office said to come back after January 1st with a 12 month bank statement and they coud proceed from there. As my wife did all the talking, I have no idea if they speak English. -

So, now we are there again. Richard always gets to tell people they are stupid and derail threads and tell them they are on a lower level. You know, that defines a a person with a huge chip on their shoulder. Then again you believe you are the judge over what is sensible or not, and what is wrong or right. Like I said yesterday, it´s Laughable. Total clownery. You should seek job in a circus. -

New Alcohol Control Bill Nearly Finalised; Set for December House Vote
The challenge for a lot of people is that the law seems to be 2 separate laws There is the Thai law and then there is the we want tourism law. Thai law is established in areas with predominantly Thai people. Patpong is in the SalaDeng Silom area, so it is deemed to be a Thai working area. Yes, I know there are many businesses around Suk, but it is predominantly a tourist-rich area, and businesses there are more dependent on tourists than Thais. Even in NANA, you have to take into consideration when and what the tourists want. Hence you have a lot of the bars on the street open early, but the Plaxa itself, due to the clientele, is not open until after 5 at the earliest. Cowboy, the bars are open earlier, but the actual girls and goings-on are not until later. The challenge outside the city is that most Thais drive or ride to the bar to drink. That is where the issue arises. I actually think that the hours work, In a strange way because if youwant a beer there are places that are selling or you just have to go to 7/11 Lotus or tops when it is legal buy your poison and go home and drink it. What throws me for a loop is watching people in the middle of the day walking along the street with a big bottle of CHANG in their hands. Someone, please tell me a country where this is legal. -

Guns do kill people - thats the very purpose of their design - anyone carrying a gun does so with the knowledge that its use has lethal force. Conversely, vehicles were designed under a completely different ideology, while they can have lethal force that is not their primary design. Using 'guns' as an analogy in this context is flawed at a very basic level - but I wouldn't expect 'pro-gun advocates' to comprehend this. 100% agree here - its tragic that the poor did not have safer options of transport made available to them. -

You Tube Premium.....can no longer pay with foreign Mastercard
I am currently paying Western pricing for YouTube Premium, but next month, I plan to switch to Thai pricing. I’ll be using my Bangkok Bank Visa Debit card, and I’ve already confirmed with Bangkok Bank that there won’t be any issues. Alternatively, you can use TrueMoney Wallet, which allows you to top up with any local debit card. This could be a solution if your current bank cards don’t work. -
