Toyota Vigo Handbook And Service Pack

Featured Replies

Hi, just got a vigo imported from LOS, GREAT but the manual and service pack are in Thai does anyone know if in Los they print an English verson ? not so worried about the service book but the operating manual would be usefull. Thank's in advance for any help.

Also one last question, do they use semi synthetic or or full synthetic engine oil?

dino oil until first service at 1000km then ok on full syn. why dont you ask the people that imported it for you. does yours have a heater?

An english manual is available in LOS.

More easy to get a manual from the Toyota dealer in the country you have the vehicle, in this countrys language.

Semi- or full syntetic is not important itself, oil spec is. To be found in the manual. Its a high power commonrail turbo, so API requirement is rather high. If in doubt, get the oil from Toyota dealer. Here we pay 900 baht for 4 litres of Toyota oil.

Be aware that the 4 speed auto in LOS requires oil changed every 40k km/ 25 k miles. In Europe it comes with a different 5 speed auto.

Expatmotors BKK install heaters and defroster. I think they charge 26.000 baht if you use the Vigo switches and some more if you want electronic (Fortuner) control.

Many thanks for all the replies,I am in UK, I swapped a merc for it The vigo is a two year old one, loaded with all extras auto, has climate control that will blow hot, so hopefully wont need a heater.

As there is no others arround where I live, can any owners tell me do they have any quirks or things to look out for, this one done 33 k with all services done, regards
