I found the change from film to digital very liberating.

No waiting for a film to be finished then developed and printed.

Did the shot work, if not try again, immediately.

I call it "instant gratification".

People love to see the photo you have just taken of them.

After years of darkroom work...and eventual use of colour slides and then printing them with Ilford Cibachrome direct printing....... I don't miss all that hard work at all.
