yes i did recently. well, the beach is nice there and less busy than Hua hin town but at evening time, there is nothing to do... they have transfer bus that you can use every hour that bring you to Hua Hin town. But to come back, you have to ride on transportation available there and they gonna ask you enormous price such as 100 - 150 baht to bring you back to Blue Wave!!!

It is a nice place.

My suggestion is if you are taking your wife / partner, its a nice place to go.

Yes it is a bit slow, but if you want a "romantic" weekend etc it is nice.

The food at the restaurant wes quite good from memory as well.

Stayed there back in 1998. Hotel was nice, pool was nice, beach was just ok but the only time I ever got food-poisoning was from eating a sandwich at this hotels restaurant. I think the mayo was bad. It is a ways from town too. Nice place but avoid the sandwiches!!
