Nowhere, if you mean methanol why would a person what methanol as it is highly poisonous and why is this question in the motor forum?? If you are talking about fuel additive I wouldn't know as Ethanol is used as a fuel additive in Thailand.

If you plan to run methanol in a car be prepared to change everything from the in tank fuel pump to the throttle body and injectors. It eats into (and ruins) plastic and rubber at a remarkable rate! Plus you will need a high energy aftermarket ignition system. Different spark plugs. Plus your insurance company will wipe you off the books.

All in all, don't do it! If you want an alternative fuel look into methane gas production. If you rural and have a ready supply of animal crap all you need is a digester, scrubber and compressor...plus a gas vehicle to burn it.

It's often used in racing, maybe that's why he is looking for it?! Not on a street usage basis I guess.

Why do you need Methanol? I used to use the stuff in Vintage racing. I heard through the grapevine of a possible supplier.
