Vintage Photo From Nakon Pranom Studio

I think this photo is fascinating.

This was in an old photo studio that looked like a time capsule from the 1960s. The proprietor was not in the shop, but the doors were open. Everything in the place was really out of time.

This really tells a story. Young boy, probably on R&R from Vietnam, his "girlfriend/new wife" (?), her son from a Thai man (cute face and ears like open car doors) and his arm around her waist, but her arms posed away from him -- but the boy has an arm on the young dude. She's dressed in her finery, but the guy is in a plaid shirt that doesn't fit with "Sunday best" theme.

I look at this and think, "What was the real story here? Where are they now? Could they possibly still be together?"

I should have rustled up the owner of the shop and asked, but for some reason the mystery was all I needed at the time.
