New Access Rules For BEDLAM and Other to be created (VIP) forums

As of today we adjusted the access policy for the old vip forum now called BEDLAM.

All users with a number of posts higher then 500 will be automatically moved to "advanced members" usergroup , from which they can access the Bedlam forums and others who might be created later.

In this way we hope to provide a Place for the long standing members of the community were they can talk amongst themselves. The members that were granted access before keep their rights.

Members with less then 500 posts will be automatically granted access when they reach this mark. they will also be able to change their comment under their avatar themselves.

Doesn't this encourage members with a fervent desire to obtain access to Bedlam (for reasons I can't currently imagine), to embark on a posting spree of one liners (or even only one word) to boost up their posts?

It could but i don't think people would start racing from 0 to 500 just to post some trol posts here

Most people i think would suddenly notice , hey i've got access now.

We just wanted to make the private forums access based on a objective number, not a "Belonging to the insiders club"

Even Dr john has access here now , we don't differentiate on emotional preference. Mind you trolls will be handled here just as well as somewhere else in the board. Forum rules apply.

Sorry Jockstar, it is closed. Mainly to prove a point that we are not going to tolerate spam posting like what happened in that thread. I will chat with the other mods and see if we should open it again in a short while (after some editing).
