A search on "hunting equipment" and the like didn't get me too far.

Does anyone know of a hunting (or any other type) of store in Chiang Mai where I can buy a rifle sight (usually a tube with small magnification and internal crosshairs.)

. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, and these usually can be attached to anything or in this case a tripod.

And the Thai word for this would be useful if anyone knows it.

Plenty on sale at MaeSai, in the street stalls just before the border checkpoint. Ideal chance to look if you are on a border run.

What about the sight for a telescope?

There is a gun shop near Warorot market. If you are coming from Nakorn Ping bridge and the American Consulate heading towards Warorot Market and before it, you would see a car parking building to your right (NOT the warorot parking building with shop selling flowers below). In front is a huge shop selling jewelry facing the road. To the left of the shop, there is a small lane. The shop is about 15 metres in. Its called Chiang Mai guns or something like that.
