Last week I visited Tak Immigration Office (Mae Sot) to renew my Retirement extension. Great! in and out in less than a half hour!

As we were leaving my wife was talking to an Immigration Officer, she told my wife that next time we would not have to go to Mae Sot as by then there would be an immigration office in Nakon Sawan!

Has anyone else heard of this?

No but I will be going next month for my marriage extension so I will ask.

I live 65 km southwest of Khampaeng Phet and I am 200 km from Mae Sot and 125 from Nakhon Sawan.

Why do you want to ask? Maybe an officer spoke out of turn! Do you want her to get into trouble and then we never get to know anything that is going on because they keep their mouths shut?

I think better you keep your ears open and YOUR mouth shut!!!

I have been to to Nan for this years retirement extension and I have already written to Immigration Bureau thanking them on allowing myself to see more of this wonderful country.
