hi guy & girls , we are coming to pattaya next week & was wondering how much we should be paying to get there from suwanaboomboom airport and where we need to go when we come out of arrivals to get the taxi ? i have heard the taxi meters are the cheapest bet

Last time I think we paid around 1,000 baht including the tolls. It was about 1,500 from the Airport Taxi Stand (Which is believed to be safer to use) But we went with the taxi guys waiting around outside the doors, no problems at all.

If you walk out the main doors on your arrival floor you'll find a guy (or he'll find you) touting for rides in no time flat. These are not metered taxis, but private cars.

They usually start at around 1200 baht including fares.

If you land in daylight hours grab a bus on the ground floor. 200 baht. See Suvarnabumphi forum for more details.
