Adrienne and Harry

I use the following web site whenever I need to find a place in Thailand.

http://www.multimap.com

It's has the most detailed online map of Thailand I've found. Use the zoom function and click on the sidebar arrows to move around. The zoom ranges from 1:40,000,000 down to 1:200,000. It covers all thailand and the world.

The following web address is long, but it takes you directly to Ban Krut.

I hope this helps

Hallo again

It must be the wrong Ban Krut , the one we are looking for is between Prachuakirikhan and Chumpon , on higway 4 exit at km 382 .

Regards

Harry

Use caution with those maps for anything but general information as the road system seems to be very poorly drawn and out of date.

I believe THIS is still the best on line map of Thailand.

Thanks for that link Lop 3, I've been searching for ages for a site like that. The multimap site was correct for the areas I had looked in before, but the site you provided is excellent.

When you get here look for a map printed by PN Map Center. They make the best printed maps overall in my opinion.

Ban Krut is marked on PN's 'SouthernThailand Map'. I've recently seen a new map by them that has the Prachuap Khiri Khan area with much more detailing. Only about 80 baht.

Don't know KM marker but there is a Grut (Krut) on road 3459 from Highway 4 at the rail line and on the coast is Pak Khlong Ban Grut. Looks to be about 60 km South of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

It is absolutly shocking for the Surin area. The Main Chom Pra-Satuk road (for Burirum airport) is not even marked. In fact Chom pra is not even on there. Also there is no such place as Chomponburi. It is a typical Thai map though. Use it and get lost.
