Accommodation

I am escaping this songkran down to singapore, i will have the family with me and i am hoping to find a short let apartment (as you would in BKK) has anyone got any recommendations? many thanks....

Checked some of them randomly. The price of 1-bedroom is above hotel prices, especially if travelling on a tour. I would consider that first

Last time we went to Singapore we took a package tour and upgraded to a higher quality hotel (Marina Mandarin). The price of accommodation worked out about 110 S$ per night, great breakfast included.

For a family, with a connecting room, it may work cheaper than an 1-bed apartment. (Of course, no kitchen).

Remark: it was July 2003, SARS was still well remembered. All hotels were full, whether they were making money or on bargain, not sure.
