Laundry Pickup And Delivery Service

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Im new to this forum and Bangkok.

I just moved in, in an apartment on Sukhumvit Soi 61.

Me and my room mates are looking for a laundry pickup and delivery service. Does anyone know something? We searched the internet and the neighbourhood but we couldn't find anything.

Can someone please help us?

Thanks in advance!

I use a service around Sathorn called Rose Laundry but I don't think they operate in your area. One piece of advice is to write down what clothes are taken each time and check it when your clothes are returned. Any laundry service I have ever used in Bangkok has lost some of my clothing and sometimes brings me other people's clothing. At least if you catch it right away sometimes they can find your correct item and if not they will give you credit for more laundry.

Thanks for the advice!

We allready contacted someone, but its pretty expensive.. 30 BHT per tshirt.. Couldn't find anything per kg.

I suggest that you consider to buy a (western) washing machine. As a bonus the clothes will be clean then, and not only washed in cold water.

charging by Kilo is not common in Bangkok (maybe in Chaos-San road, but thats not my area :) )

but most laundries offer something like a "package", f.e.: pay 500 baht and get credits for 40 Shirts, instead of paying 15 Baht for a single shirt each time.

what I am missing here is a laundry that offers HOT water laundering services (for example for towels, bed sheets, and such).

I know one in CM and one in PTY but none in BKK (okay I know I could ask at an upperclass hotel, but dont wanna pay 80 Baht for getting one towel laundered.....)

Im actually paying 80 BHT for a towel now. The laundry service im using right now is Els Laundry Service. Does anyone know where we can get a washingmachine and dryer in one? That would be the best thing, haha.

Thanks for all the comments and tips.

You can get a Washer/Dryer (top loader) in any powerbuy/homepro type shop for around 8,000b - they will even deliver and install it for free.

If you look for a western style front loader - the price will jump to 15,000b +

if you wanna buy a washer (or fridge, or dryer or anything) , try the 3rd or 4th floor (forgot which floor exactly, but easy to spot as their area covers almost the entire floor) of EMPORIUM.

very reliable place, good service, and english is spoken. a few percent more expensive than buying such items at ur average Big-C or Tesco, but well worth the money.....
