Almanac predicts bitterly cold winter for parts of U.S.

* Story Highlights

* The Farmer's Almanac is out with its annual predictions for winter weather

* It says the Great Lakes region and Midwest should expect bitterly cold weather

* East, West Coasts should be more seasonable, but winter storms still likely

* Looking for relief in the spring? Too bad -- it's expected to be cool and rainy

Accept for the fact that the Farmers Almanac is more timer than not right on the money. That & the fact that the Midwest. Illinois & Wisconsin Had an extremely hot start to summer. I was there in June 23rd & the weather was hitting 36 degrees cel. 90's in Fahrenheit. Which is very rare in the Midwest for that time of year. when July hit it has been rainy ever since. The bees & critters have been very excited- Which usually means bad weather(farmers almanac- hit to miss ratio over 90% I used to go by their predictions for Boating in Hawaii Growing produce in the Midwest & west coast U.S.

I hope they are wrong this time. I just wished my Mom that maybe it will be a mild winter. Looks doubtful!

On the other hand we are pretty blessed to be in a very nice weather belt in Thailand :)
