HDRIDER Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hi They will move, when,,,,, i dont know but they are coming closer to me
starkey_rich Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 It's open now. That's what it said when I passed it the other day
greenwater Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Hope the new place will be cleaner......the old one.
flip Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 passing nearly everyday but strangely just see the illuminated sign, thats all..! no restaurant open yet...
starkey_rich Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I think I have the wrong pizza place. There is a new one opening tonight just up from the Islander Bar
chickencurry Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Have you fallen over Rich? The new pizzeria is down the hill from the Islander where that French eatery used to be - that lasted exactly one year - though when you print menus in French only you are severely restricting your possible clientele I would say. Looking forward to the new M n M which is also not far from where I live. Are we neighbours, HDRider? A bit off topic I suppose, but we ate at another new place just a stone throws from the new M n M - called The Thai Lagoon and it was very good - mainly Thai food but a very big menu with dishes you don't always see in other places, very keen on prices and very pleasant in there. Oh - and adequate parking - something that restaurant owners don't always think about.
amyb Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 i've been meaning to check out the Thai Lagoon...good to hear it has positive reviews. and from what i saw driving home last night, M&M in Nai Harn still isn't open.

chickencurry Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 HiSoi Kokyang Ah we're down the road in Soi Naya. If we see a Harley, we'll give you a wave
steelepulse Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I haven't been to Nai in a few weeks, so where exactly is the new M & M?
stevenl Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 The sign is on the 'Cheers intersection'. I don't know when they're going to move though.
katabeachbum Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 had a quattro stagione pizza last night. great pizza, nice beachfront place, very serviceminded Isarn staff. Love good pizza, so we ll come back
steelepulse Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 That location is their old place. I agree though they make a good pie, albeit not cheap.
katabeachbum Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 That location is their old place. I agree though they make a good pie, albeit not cheap. Amazed of the pricerange. quattro stagione at 220 baht is ok, but parmahampizza at 400 baht is steep. tiger beer at 60 baht is ok
HDRIDER Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi But its a very good pizza, plenty of parma, try the JS pizza, BTW going there in 30 min....
F1fanatic Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Pizza's are nothing to write home about (at the last location) and Issan staff are certainly not something to impress anyone!
Valentine Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I have not been to M & M for a while bit always thought their pizzas were OK. A couple of days ago their new location did not appear ready for opening. Italian place at the entrance to Patak Villa makes similar type pizzas. Has anyone tried pizza from Da Vinici's as interested to know if they are any good although I imagine pricing could be a bit high.
HDRIDER Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi have been in both Patak and M&M both is good i think, Just that i am used to M&M and go there most often. They told me they will open before high season, they told me they can only get 1 year lease at the time in Rawai that’s why they move. They wanted to renovate the place, but we all know what will happen to the rent if they did that.
katabeachbum Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Took the bike to Surin beach today and was in pizza mood again for lunch. 290 baht for any pizza, even Margarita, and it wasnt very good. Brought some of it home for my dog actually. Compared to this, M&M is great
