Putu94 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Somebody knows where to buy Belgium Beers, not only in BKK but also in Isan? Like: Duvel/Leffe/Chimay/La Trappe/Westmalle/Brigand (and many more up till 1500) Thanks to you all in advance
Tawai Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Hi there in Isaan ! Well I am living in Chiang Mai, here we get Leffe on tap (my favorite), bottled Leffe, Karmeliet,Duvel, Kwak and MANY more kinds of aroy belgium beers. Fred, the owner of Number One Bar (Loi Kroh Soi1), imports them, so the beers are fresh. If you want his phone number, I could ask Fred on my next visit, or if you PM me your Phone number, I could try to get Fred to call you. I know also of bottled Leffe in Rimping Supermarket (140 Baht for 330ml). Cheers.......
jaiyenyen Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 If you are in Bangkok, have a word with 'Cactus John' at Cactus Bar, soi Cowboy. He was taking orders last week for some mixed cases. 1600 baht a case I think.
fred2007 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I know this is not related to Begium beer but where can I get I good stout beer like they sell in Malaysia It's called Royal stout
thecatman Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I'm pretty sure you'll find what you're looking for here
barrella Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) I'm pretty sure you'll find what you're looking for here I wish you did not show me that as I will have to go there now. I noticed on another website when I was searching for there own one that the ASPH is $500 according to a review. I am not saying that I would not spend that amount of money in a night as I have done and a lot more but what confused me about that amount of moeny was, even if they are charging $30 a beer, at $500 ASPH I would need to be stomach pumped after considering the ABV's the beers have in that place. smokie36 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Its a pity to see the cheapest belgian beers are selling for 92 baht wholesale. No chance of finding them in any bars here on Samui in the near future. Great beer with minimal hangover as well. Maybe I'll order a few cases just for myself.
lazygourmet Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Market research has been made to open a real Belgian Beer Cafe in Bangkok. But the results of the study were negative
