Kanaka Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 If I want to marry a thai woman in thailand do I have to show financial proof of support at the time or is that only necessary if I apply for a visa based on the marriage? lopburi3 Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 You need to fill out a paper notarized by the US Embassy that lists a number of things including your employment and income if I recall correctly which basically is designed to show you are not married and fit to take care of a wife. There is no need for paperwork of support type information for the marriage. The visa process is when detailed information will be required.
