gennisis
Does anyone know what the laws here are in relation to an electric, battery powered bike....ie a pedal bike with assisted motor I know in Vietnam if they are capable of over 35 kl/hr then helmets, licence etc applies but I cant find any info about Thailand. The bikes with Lithium battery seem attractive and are available here Edited October 13, 2009 by gennisis

Powerband
i wouldn't even worry about legal hassles riding them, it's such an unknown area in thailand that cops wouldn't know what to do about them if they ran into one.
