Renting out our home

Featured Replies

post-9592-1256201320_thumb.jpg

We were considering renting out our Villa in Chiang Mai next year.

It has 3 beds, all en-suite, master with a 4 Poster Bed and Jacuzzi Bath.

Pool with jacuzzi plus a steam room.

Full time maid and a pool cleaning guy

If we did decide to do this we would live close by in a cheap house so we could take good care of the punters. we also have a brand new 7 seater SUV so we could take people (if we got any takers) on sightseeing tours, running and collecting from town at night etc.

My Wife is a splendid cook so we could cater for them poolside in the day and in the house at night if they did not want to go out.

If we did decide to do something like this does anone know what we may expect to get a week for it?..and where would we advertise it.

Thanks in advance

TP

It looks nice in the photo. The pink palace, I might call it. Each bedroom ensuite, quite a luxury for a private home. Can’t help you with an estimate of how much holidaymakers would pay for it but hope you will have success with it.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Reting it out weekly would be difficult unless you are aligned with a group already doing this.

Find a long-term renter for a lovely place, and you will be better off in the long-haul.

best of luck
