Any Kid-friendly Halloween Activities This Weekend?

Featured Replies

Any kid-friendly Halloween activities this weekend? Specifically young revelers in the 3-7 age group?

How cute!

Sadly i dont know of any activities, and not sure if this helps or not, but last year I just did a makeshift Halloween event at home for my bfs kids. Basically some pumpkin carving (well they drew the face on the pumpkin in pen and i carved it out for them). Then had a Halloween treasure hunt (that i pre-planned and set up before hand). Created some spooky themed riddles and hid clues around and they went around with torches hunting (treasure was just some sweets). Had a few regular games we did too but adapted for Halloween.

I just mean, if you get stuck, you can still have fun at home dressing up and messing about. Dim the lights or use torches and candles and do something fun..but maybe not too spooky if there is a 3 year old..haha. I remember Halloween parties being pretty scary at that age! :)

Anyway, best of luck finding something fun for them. :D

Several moobaans in the neighbourhood have had halloween parties during the previous years. Some are very well-organized and have games and haunted houses set up. Of course, these communities are ones with significant farang populations. I hesitate to say them on here because they are usually for people who live in the community & friends. My neighbourhood, Moobaan Tanawan, usually has had a small group of homes who have candy ready for the kids each year. However; I haven't heard of anyone doing it this year.

As far as ones open to the public, I have not heard of any this year. Usually, there are a few events around town.

Nakorn Payap Int'l School have a halloween day during school hours on Oct 30. Students and teachers (and parents) are encouraged to dress up and I presume candies will be handed out. Parents and friends are welcome. You could call them (053 110 680) to verify if they'd welcome your kids. I'd like to go, but my teenagers have given strict instructions for me to stay away.
