Technically, a person is a criminal if they commit a crime under the law.....so technically, yes, he was a crim. Mandela was in every sense of the word a freedom fighter, fighting against racist oppression, fighting against laws designed to make any "uppity ni99ers" criminals.

(Arguably) Technically, Bush is not a crim.....from the obverse side of the same coin: laws let him do what he wants. Not neccessarily just laws, but politically designed laws.

He was a criminal no matter how it is justified. He promoted violence against innocent civilans and there is a very good chance that he actively participated in it.

I will admit that he has mostly conducted himself well as a statesman, but there is no doubt that he was a terrorist in his youth.

Agreed, you must admit though it's more offensive to call an African American an ape than a European, simply it is much more commonly used as insult in their case.

Generally the Right are racist, they're just a little coy about it. (Some are).

Racist abuse would get you banned fairly quickly here which tends to get people doing it in a round about way and then denying it.

If you want to say something that you truly believe in, be upfront and say it and take the consequences. Anything else is hypocrisy.
