Have a friend who wants to bring his car from the UK to Laam Chabaang. The car has been converted to a hand controlled disabled car adapted for his use and he would like to know how he goes about bringing it here and what costs maybe involved,is there any concessions for disabled drivers in Thailand.

Looking at other threads it seems that Bangkok port is the one to try. If he goes in with a Thai speaker to explain they may be able to help him for a few hundred thousand baht. Personally i would buy a vehicle here and have it converted (try a UK sold vehicle so you can get a conversion kit).
