Where Can I Purchase Postage Stamps Collectibles In Chiang Mai?

i'm off to CM in a few weeks time, to visit my friend who will show me around.

Anyway, i collect old postage stamps, postcards, postal covers. I wonder where can i get them in Chiang Mai and Lamphun?

Is there any antique or collectible shops there which offer such items at decent prices?

Soi 2 and Tha Phae you have the AIS building, on the back side of AIS,Tha Phae RD side is a small shop fronting Tha Pae that has old photos of CM and Thailand, paper money coins and old stamps for sale.Hope thiswill be of help.

Prasing post office issues first day covers as does the main post pffice by the Three Kings statues.

probably also find some interesting old stuff down at the weekend flea market on Bumrungrat Rd (118/Doi Saket Rd) opposite the ice cream shop (I forget the name)

there is a stamp shop/launderette about 100mtrs past the shell garage on huay kaew rd, it has an "A board" outside advertising stamps, collectables etc.
