Fallen Off The Google Radar?

Yeah, they index once a month or so, according to their website. In the beginning of Feb., I had a large and unusual drop off in google referrals to my site that happened in one day. Traffic went down almost 50% while I was pulling my hair out to figure out why...

Then, a week ago, it dramatically reversed itself in one day, and numbers are back to normal....

But my hair never came back :o

Indeed i typed accommodation and got different results from previous searches.

I did notice also that advertisers suddenly appear at the top of searches.Guess their dosh gets them up the queue.

algo change test.

nothing special , they do that on part of their servers all the time

I figure it must of been something like that. My google stats dropped like a rock overnight 50%, and stayed consistently at the same low level of google referrals. Then, last week, almost exactly 60 days after it started, it stopped....Inside of a few hours, all numbers returned to normal, including the expected stats increases, which should continue to increase up through May... Almost all google referral increases, too.

Google will control the world, I predict. :o

60 days of panic Ajarn? :D

More like pulling my hair out as described earlier, but with valid reason, it seems now. I went through all kinds of moves in various tech forums, too, but it was a good learning experience and a valuable education. Yet another example of my learning the hard way :o

I'm not the panicky type, even if my words might suggest that sometimes.

It's just my Passion :D
