Need New Soles

Coming down to CM for a couple of days from Chiang Rai...Wondering where is the best place to have a couple nice pairs of Kenneth Coles re-soled at in CM. Any suggestions? Feed back appreciated.

Dear KDam, not sure about Keneth Cole soles specifically, but one of the better shoe guys is outside the entrance on your left hand side as you turn (left) into Talaat Thanin off Chang Puak road. He's sitting on a stool and has a pile of shoes about him along with a cpl pieces of shoe machinery. I do believe he can match whatever price range of repairs you have in mind, from cheapo "make it work,' to hey, 'I want it nice again.' Best bring your interpreter along to get things straight though unless you peak some good Thai. I've used him a few times with great success, and know several others who've had same results and recommended him to me in the first place.

I have very good experiences with the (christian) shoemaker at the sidewalk along the Kaeonawarat road (that passes the soi to the Arcade busterminal)

They are at the northside close to the foodbridge somewhere in the middle between the Ping river and inner ringroad.
