Hello all,

I am and Educator living in Japan working with and NGO that is involved in providing educational resources including computers, text books, school supplies, etc to schools in need of them in Southeast Asia.

I am currently looking for elementary schools in need of such supplies in Thailand. I was hoping that someone here might be able to point me in the direction of some specific schools which may be in need and if at all possible contact information for administrators at those schools.

Hopefully you'll get some responses, but I would guess that most foreign teachers don't work in schools that would qualify. Perhaps a few will know of a local school, village school that is quite needy.

You can contact Mr. Somprasong of Umphang Wittayakom School. He is the director of the local secondary school in Umphang and can help you with bringing you in contact with local elementary schools, located in the mountains of Tak province. A lot of hill tribe students and elementary schools who could really need some help.

Sorry that this is not relevant to the topic but I've been trying to find a way to contact the school director of Umphang Wittayakom School because I'm keen to sponsor some kids in their studies.

Can someone advise me how do I go about with this?
