I live in Chalong but will drive to find an honest mechanic.

I have a 1991 Mira car:

I just had the evaporator replaced and the whole system charged. Was told the compressor was good but now it leaked out the freeon and the aircon system is warm.

Need a new compressor: Any idea how much this should cost for the part and labor?

Where to buy a compressor or have a honest mechanic replace it and charge the coolant system?

Also need a new battery , where to buy a new one for a reasonable price.

I've bought my car batteries over the years in Chalong on Chofa East, just about opposite/before Flints-One. Fair price & good service.

Air-con service a bit more tricky to find a good/fair mechanic. Used to be a small place on Chofa West right side going into Phuket Town, but I think he moved further past Wat Chalong, left side after the sweeping bends left/right/left. About mid way down the short stretch of buildings. Bit hard to find as no sign in English.
