CHIANG MAI, THAILAND: -- Frozen dew happened on the tourist-destination Doi Inthanon Mount for the first time of the year early Monday when the mercury dropped to 7.5 Celsius degree.

The Northern Meteorological Centre in Chiang Mai reported that the morning temperature on top of Doi Inthanong dropped to 7.5 C.

Tourists were treated with the frozen dew in the morning while local people are in need of winter clothing, Deputy Chiang Mai Governor Pairoj Saengphuwong said.

Tourists treated with frozen dew on Doi Inthanon again

Chiang Mai - Tourists were treated with frrozen dew on Doi Inthanon Mount for third consecutive morning Wednesday with the mercury dropping to 6 Celsius degree.

The frozen dew happened from the kilometre marker 46 up to the moutaintop.

Jiradej Boonmak, assistant director of the Doi Inthanon National Park, said it was the third consecutive morning that frozen dew happened.

He said the temperature on the mountain top was 6 C degree.
