The SEA Games opening ceremony isn't for another couple of days, but the football competition starts tonight. In history Thailand have owned South East Asian football, but in the last couple of years Vietnam and Singapore (Singapore has a team of bought players) have won the regional competitions.... c'mon it's good to get behind our chosen country :)

Here is the competition schedule from www.thaileaguefootball.com and http://www.laoseagames2009.com/v1/index.aspx

I watched the last SEA Games football tournament, which if I remember Thailand won. If I am thinking of the same games, then the teams are not actually the senior international squads, but every team uses their U23 squads.

edit: Ok, just confirmed it. Doesn't mean you can't cheer on Thailand if you're so inclined, but just so you know since 2001 it's been the U23 squads for the SEA games. Still should be fun to watch, if you like local football. I enjoy watching Thailand play. For more, see here.

Anyone know if the remaining thailand games will be show live on NBT?

All the Thai games should be on a Thai channel, whether NBT or another. Last time around I watched every Thai game in the competition, including the final which they won.

Here are the latest results. Looks like its going to go down to the final match with Thailand v Malaysia to go through to knock out stage with Vietnam.

Yeah, they are U23 similar to the Olympics I think. Maybe 4 or 5 of them are in the national squad.

Hi there,

I'd like to ask something.. Did all the previous Thailand matches were shown on NbT TV? I'd like to watch the match online and need some confirmation so that I wouldn't be scrambling for online streaming links on the match day.
