Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to have a Suunto computer battery replaced.Is there an authorized Suunto repair facility in Patong? I am also wondering about a good snorkel spot within 15-20 mins motorbike ride from Patong.Thank You very much

Paradise beach at the south end of Patong is nice. Go up the bridge and past Amari Beach resort.

There is also an OK reef north end of Kata beach.

Really, I was under the impression it was only wholesale due to the big sign outside the door advising that only other accredited companies could buy from them.

Divesupply phuket is wholesale only. In other places it is different, but we're talking phuket here aren't we?

H20Dunc, you are in Chumpon so your experiences may be with Samui's DiveSupply? Anyone can walk in to that one. On Phuket DS have a huge sign in red saying "No Public Sales." They only do resale. Since Water World Asia are the same company (at least for now) as DiveSupply, WWA should be able to take care of you. It used to be you had to send Suunto back to Finland, not so now apparently. I stopped using them (Suunto) long ago because they are crazy conservative. Look nice though.

it's a mosquito....almost user changeable....the dude at ALL 4 DIVING says he's an authorized repair facility,sells em new but i did'nt see the repair room. Has anyone had any experience dealing with them as far as repairs? thanx

Not almost, they are user changeable.

I would prefer waterworld over all4diving, but both will be ok, and you could even do it yourself.
