Dna Testing

Featured Replies

I will have a child born sometime early next year wish to just double check that it is mine I know through salvia of both parents a dna test can be done would like to know if anyway in chiangmai when the child is born if there is a clinic or hosptial for that sort of thing

thanks

Sorry to read that your in that position where you need to know for sure. Best of luck :)

I met an American guy about a month ago here in C.M. who was required to get DNA tests by the U.S. Consulate. When he went to register the birth of his luuk kreung son they questioned the paternity. He told me that the cost was 10,000 Baht.

About 8 years ago when I had my Canadian daughter registered as a Thai national we had to get a DNA test here in BKK. We all had to give blood at that time. Before only the women knew for sure.

DNA testing is how Orang37 found out he was part orangutan.

Sorry Bill, I couldn't resist... :)

If you know your partner why do you question her? Is there more to the story? Sorry to ask but where did you meet her? If you met in a bar then I would say for sure get a DNA test but if she is a good thai girl and you spend your time together then there should be no questions. I don't think Thailand has anything like the child support agency where they will track you down where ever you may be in the world.
