How many people actually know the real history of Ukraine and Zelensky?
No more than from the forever war neocon Yank media. If anyone is interested in what I think is honest academic commentary on what has been going on please go to YouTube and search professor Jeff Sachs of Columbia University and professor John Mearsheimer of University of Chicago. -

Shock discovery! Zelensky owns a suit!!
Yes indeed. But can't wait for Hanaguma's insight as he knows about "the deal" that was scuppered by a choice of clothes. America is literally being laughed at by most of the rest of the world. -

Shock discovery! Zelensky owns a suit!!
I believe it was something along the lines of the Ukraine being expected to give up the lands stolen by Russia and now illegally occupied, cede rights and income to at least 50% of their resources to the USA in return for nothing and for no guarantees of security. In effect Trump was trying to bully a vulnerable country. The USA encouraged Ukraine and willingly provided arms and supplies. Now all of a sudden Trump wants to make a retroactive claim for payment. -

British Tourist Knocked Out by Pattaya Club Bouncer
Self-defense is an accepted defense at trial under Thai law. Sections 67, 68, and 69 of the Thai Criminal Code deal with self-defense, with Section 68 stating "such act is a lawful defense." https://library.siam-legal.com/thai-law/criminal-code-criminal-liability-sections-66-72/ Unfortunately the unofficial English translation of the Thai Criminal Code is very clumsy with some laughable mistakes, i. e., what should be "guilt" or even better "guilty" is given as "quilt." The Thai laws on self-defense are similar to English common law and modern U.K. criminal law. The test in both countries is that acts taken in defense against imminent danger are "reasonable" and "proportionate." This is different from the U.S., where 11 states mandate a "duty to retreat" before deadly force can be used in self-defense; 38 have "stand your ground" laws which don't require an attempt to retreat; and one state and the District of Columbia have a "mixed" law, with a duty to retreat under some circumstances and stand your ground under others.
